Decoding the Mystery of an Outfit
Tomorrow came, and it was another friend’s birthday party. Was it ironic that most of the same crowd was invited? If I had a shoulder to cry on, I might have because repeating an outfit the very next day is a sin for a woman and who would guess that I am dared to do so! But, I take challenges personally which is why I was standing in the birthday hall in the same EGO’s Luxury Wear that I had worn a day before.
The boys saw me making an entrance and their mouth was hung open in disbelief. One of them came running, saying, “You lost! This isn’t the same outfit”.
Before I could answer, my girls jumped in to the rescue: “It is the same! Oh my goodness! I can’t believe this garment can be styled with such versatility. It’s almost different!”
Yep, girls notice everything. I strongly believe that the days are coming when women will take over the FBI entirely. We’ve got skills that men don’t.
My other guy friend who had been looking at me intently said, “It’s the same outfit. But how did you manage to look so different? Where did you buy these clothes from?”
And ladies, when a man asks this question just know it that your garment rocked! Men don’t ask such questions.
I said, “It’s EGO’s Clothing. I got it from their Luxury Wear Collection and I have plenty more. If y’all hadn’t dared me to put on the same one, I might have rocked the other piece!”
“No, no, with that beauty you can be the Show Stopper here! I can tell you’re wearing your hair down today and the lip color is darker. Is it brown?”, Said one.
“And her hair is open. You look different, man. Your white hair is hardly visible in a bun like you wore it yesterday. You look rich with that hair”. He laughed.
“And what else is different?”, I inquired.
“Boys, the crystal studs have been replaced with the hoops today. And that brown is a chocolate brown. Be specific! Umm, oh yeah, the dupatta is missing”, said my girlfriend.
“Yeah, I borrowed a dupatta from another outfit last night”, I interrupted.
“Shh, let us figure. Anddd, oh yeah, you’re wearing stilettos today! The mystery is solved! She won because she wore the same piece and yet looked so different. You boys could hardly tell it’s the same fit”.
